Not-So-Warm Welcome

So... When you walk up to my home, this is what you see. It's a not-so-warm welcome!
I MUST do something about this quickly, because it is making me CRAZY!!
(BTW - The trees have been trimmed, so you can actually see my house now. Yeah Me!)

I could just go buy a new door, but what's the fun in that?!

Should I sand and stain? Should I paint? Or should I suck it up and buy a new door?

Since my shutters are black, I thought it would look great to have a black door, but BLACK?! I think I am warming up to the idea... this will definitely be my next projects and I am on a mission at make walking up to my home a Warm Welcome!

I actually think that a black door would look good, especially with your black shutters. I remember watching some show on HGTV where they did a black front door and it was very striking. It would stand out and fade back all at the same time (if that even remotely makes sense to anyone but me!) Good luck!

Hello,

I think my emails to you must be going to spam! Will you send me your shipping information for the Harvest letters you won at the FFF auction! Thanks so much!

Stopping by from SITS. I think a black door would be stunning also. There aren't too many options with the color of your house. I think it is beautiful.

I like your blog so much, and I see how very talented you are! As far as your door, take a look at what I did to mine. I think the same technique would look great here. I'm going to sign up to follow you! I think I could pick up a few tricks.
