A MASTER Makeover

We decided to FINALLY makeover our Master Bedroom.
Many people have mentioned that they'd love to makeover a room in the house, but don't have enough money to do much. SO... I have been on a mission to see how much we could accomplish with a small $500 budget. The photos below show how much we accomplished without going over budget... BE INSPIRED! ;-)
BEFORE:
(I don't think you should ever have white walls in your home.)

AFTER:

(It's amazing how warm a room can feel after adding a little color to the walls.)

The hubs and I designed and made the headboard. The PERFECT focal point for $50!!

We wanted the bedroom to be completely different than any other room in the house (like a get-a-way) and I believe we accomplished that!

Be inspired... it IS possible to have an amazing transformation with a small budget! We plan on purchasing a rug and I will be painting some art for the walls, but wanted to share photos of the room with $500 worth of change!
**Side note: Maybe that is what I should blog about... Making something out of nothing, using hardwork, patience and a small budget. Just a thought**

That is a beautiful transformation. I am in the thinking stages of redoing my guest room and I want to paint it brown. Seeing your pictures makes me realize I am going in the right direction.
Congrats to you and your husband on the headboard project!
